A large American coin silver covered milk jug by James & William Moir, New York c. 1844-1869. Inverted pear-shaped body with repousse and chased floral and scroll decoration, with hinged lid, on anthemion feet. One central cartouche inscribed with a script monogram. 7.25" (18.3cm) high, 12.6 troy oz (391g).
