Dutch Silver Tea Set

A handmade Dutch 835 silver tea set with Netherlands guarantee mark ZII (this mark is added to unmarked "used" or antique pieces that are brought in for assay) c. 1910, also marked with sponsor's mark of DJ Aubert of Den Haag, comprising a teapot, a cream jug and sugar bowl. In the Empire style, with reeded borders, serpent finial and Tau handle. Teapot is 9" (22.9cm) from spout to handle, capacity of teapot is 2 cups (500ml), total weight is 32.1 troy oz (997g).
