A pair of fine quality and heavy George IV sterling silver entree dishes by Benjamin Smith, hallmarked London 1825. Rectangular with applied scroll borders, the lids a loop handle. Each piece engraved on both sides with the Abinger family crest, a garter and motto "Suis Stat Viribus" (He rests on his own strength).  12.25" (31.1cm) long, 5.5" (14cm) high, 150.3 troy oz. (4674g).
