A German silver cup and cover beautifully embossed with foliage, figures and animals in the Historismus manner. Hourglass shape on a pedestal base with knight-in-armour finial, gilt interior. 13 Loth standard (.8125), probably Hanau c. 1875. 15.75" (40cm) high, 24 ozt (749g).
