Large Baroque Style Silver Casket

A large fine quality German .800 silver casket or jewellery box by George Roth Co, Hanau c. 1890. The lid embossed in high relief with cherubs and grape vines in the Baroque style, the front, back and sides embossed and chased with scrolls and foliage. 8" (20.3cm) long, 6" (15.2cm) deep, 3.5" (8.9cm) high, 24 ozt (745g).
