A pair of early George III silver service plates (or large dinner plates) by William Cripps, hallmarked London 1764. Circular with shaped edge and gadroon border, deep central well. Engraved with a monogram on the reverse. 10.25" (26cm) diameter, total weight 41.7 ozt (1298g).
Minor scratching to the centres from use.
