Set of Four Regency Silver Entree Dishes

A fine set of four George III sterling silver entree dishes hallmarked London 1812 by Thomas Robins. Rectangular with shell and gadroon mounts and removable handles, each engraved with the Marital Arms of Charles Brownlow, 1st Baron Lurgan and Jane Macneil of Barra which include the motto "Esse Quam Videri" (To be, rather than to seem (to be)). 11.5" x 9.25" (29 x 23.5cm), total weight 268.4 troy oz (8220g).
