A fine quality American antique sterling silver tea set by Tiffany & Co., New York c. 1860, comprising a teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl. Tapered cylindrical shape with engraved decoration in the neoclassical style. Engraved with a monogram M and date "June 15th 1882". Height of teapot 6.5" (16.5cm), total weight 42 ozt (1307g).
