A fine quality Victorian sterling silver bachelor teapot by Joseph Angell I Joseph Angell II with retail mark "J Mayer Goldsmith c 63 Lord St. Liverpool", hallmarked London 1844. Antique silver teapot with unusual Gothic design, baluster shape with scroll handle and spout and shaped octagonal skirt. Engraved with scrolls, foliage, columns, animals and musical instruments. Inscribed with a family crest and monogram DH. 7" (17.8cm) high, 14.1 ozt (440g).
