A large early Victorian sterling silver goblet by William Hewitt, hallmarked London 1838. Thistle shaped bowl on pedestal foot, chased with flowers and scrolling foliage against a stippled ground. 5 7⁄8" (15cm) high, 4 1⁄8" (10.5cm) diameter at the top, 8.2 oz (254g).
