American Silver Gilt Chalice

A fine quality, heavy American sterling silver gilt chalice by Louis D. Hupfeld, Baltimore c. 1960. Circular bowl on knopped tapering pedestal foot, with applied Cross on the foot.  Inscribed on the underside "John J. McHale Ordained June 8, 1957", and "From Your Loving Mother".  4.25"(10.7cm) diameter at the top, 8.5" (21.6cm) high, 29.5 oz (919g).
