Victorian Adam Style Candlesticks

A pair of fine quality late Victorian sterling silver candlesticks by Martin, Hall & Co (Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall), hallmarked London 1891. In the Adam style, with urn-shaped nozzles, tapered square columns on rising beaded square bases, embossed with garlands, ram's masks, and urns. Engraved on the sides of the bases: "From Willie/Rogers, GSB, Oct 4, 1892". 11.8" (30cm) high, 5" (12.8cm) across at the base.
