English Sterling Silver Flower Basket

A large George V sterling silver flower basket (or brides basket) by Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd, hallmarked Sheffield 1922. Circular form body on pedestal foot with swing handle, with ornate pierced open-work and applied floral swags throughout. 19" (48.3cm) high to top of handle, 10.25" (26cm) across, 32.8 troy oz (1019g).
