A massive and superb quality George II silver salver by George Hindmarsh, hallmarked for London 1739. Shaped circular form with on four scroll legs with shell feet, the edge flat chased with scrolls, foliage and trellis, the centre engraved with a coat of arms, 21.25" (54cm) diameter, 169 troy oz (5256g).
