George III Silver Sugar Basket

An attractive George III sterling silver sugar basket by Solomon Hougham, hallmarked London 1798. Lobed boat shaped with reeded swing handle and pedestal base. Engraved with bright cut decoration on the inside and a family crest on the side. 7.7" (19.5cm) high to top of handle, 9.7 troy oz (303g).
