A George III sterling silver sugar basket by William Plummer, hallmarked London 1789. Neoclassical style, with reeded swing handle and border on pedestal base. The sides engraved with bright cut garlands decoration and a family crest. 6" (15.2cm) high to top of handle, 6.2 troy oz (193g).
