Irish Victorian Silver Tea Set

A large antique Irish silver tea set by John Smyth, hallmarked Dublin 1865. Baluster shaped with repoussé decoration of flowers in a diamond pattern, with scroll handles and spout. Engraved with the Somerset arms and motto: "Foy Pour Devoir" (Fidelity unto duty). 10" (25.4cm) from spout to handle, 50.3 troy oz (1565g).
