Aesthetic Movement Silver Fish Service for 12

A German .800 silver and parcel gilt fish service comprising 12 knives and 12 forks by MH Wilkens and Sohne, Bremen c. 1885 with retail mark for Heinrich Mau of Dresden. The blades and heads parcel gilt and engraved in the Aesthetic Movement style, with die struck handles depicting fish, length of knife 8 1⁄4" (21cm), total weight 49.5 troy oz (1541g).
