American Art Nouveau Milk Jug

An American sterling silver milk jug by Wilcox & Eversten, NY c. 1985.  Art Nouveau style, compressed spherical shape with convex sides and applied scroll and foliage rim, the body beautifully decorated with repoussé flowers and foliage, on four shell feet. Engraved with a monogram HM on one cartouche. Gilt interior. 4.5" (11.4cm) high, 11.3 ozt (352g).
