American Art Nouveau Silver Bowl

An American sterling silver bowl by Wilcox & Eversten, NY c. 1885.  Art Nouveau style, compressed spherical shape with convex sides and applied scroll and foliage rim, the body beautifully decorated with repoussé flowers and foliage, on four shell feet. Engraved with a monogram HM on one cartouche. 4" (10.2cm) diameter, 4" (10.2cm) high, 11.7 ozt (364g).
