A pretty Danish sterling silver beaker by Anton Michelsen, Copenhagen c. 1969. Tapered octafoil shape with chased Renaissance revival style decoration, parcel gilt. Known as a "Margrethe cup" after the Danish Queen Margrethe I (1363–1380). 3 3⁄8" (8.5cm) high, 3 3⁄4" (9.5cm) diameter, 5.5 troy oz (172g).
