A large fine quality Edwardian sterling silver water jug (or beer jug) by Mappin and Webb, hallmarked London 1909. Etruscan shaped body embossed with acanthus leaves, with acanthus capped double scroll handle, 9.25" (23.5cm) high, 5 pint (2400ml) capacity, 35 troy oz (1089g).
