An exceptionally rare pair of Victorian silver gilt napkin rings with six colour cloisonne enamel decoration. Hallmarked Birmingham 1890 by John Hardman & Co., engraved "Barbara" & "Charlotte".

-John Hardman Co. was a distinguished 19th century metalworking firm. The renowned architect Augustus Pugin was their chief designer in 1840s. several of their pieces are in the Victoria and Albert museum.
