A large French .950 standard silver ewer, Provincial 1798-1809 (maker's mark L with urn above). In the neoclassical style, urn shaped with fluted sides, bead borders and loop handle terminating with an applied acanthus leaf. 17.25" (43.8cm) high, 46.9 troy oz (1458g).
