A George III silver nutmeg grater by Thomas Phipps & Edward Robinson, hallmarked London 1798. Oblong shaped, with hinged lid and steel rasp. Engraved with a script monogram "AE" on the lid. The base is also hinged (for the removal of the nutmeg). 1 7⁄8" (4.8cm) long.
