A fine quality George III sterling silver tea caddy by John Denzilow, hallmarked London 1783. Neoclassical style, cylindrical oval shape with hinged lid and applied urn-shape finial. Engraved with bands of decoration, a family crest and motto "Nobilis Est Ira Leonis" (The Lion's Anger is Noble). 4.75"(12cm) high, 4.9" (12.4cm) across, 12.6 troy oz (392g).
