A pair of fine quality heavy George IV sterling silver entree dishes by Benjamin Smith, hallmarked London 1825. Rectangular with applied scroll borders, the lids with loop handle. Each piece engraved on both sides with the Abinger family crest, a garter and motto "Suis Stat Viribus" (He rests on his own strength).  12.25" (31.1cm) long, 5.5" (14cm) high, 150.3 troy oz. (4674g).
