German Silver Historismus Vase

A large German silver vase in the Historismus manner commemorating the life of Johannes Chistphorus Tucher, of Simmeldorf (in Nuremberg). Embossed with scrolls, foliage, figures and coat of arms, and set with semi-precious stones. Hanau c. 1880. 11 7/8" (30cm) high, 25.9 ozt (807g).
