A late Victorian sterling silver hip flask by Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd, hallmarked Birmingham 1899. Plain circular form curved to fit against the body with a bayonet-fit lid. The front inscribed with a presentation: "To Mr. A. M. Bourne from the members of the Shamrock Dancing Class, Bromley Kent, Feb 1901". 4 1/8" (10.5cm) long, 2.4 troy oz (76g).
