An Edwardian sterling silver tea set in Louis pattern by Martin Hall and Co Ltd, hallmarked Sheffield 1901. Baluster shaped vessels beautifully chased with flowers and scrolls, with acanthus-capped scroll handles and cast scrolling feet, the teapot lid is applied with a cast shell and scroll border and surmounted by an eagle final. Teapot is 10.5" (26.7cm) spout to handle, teapot capacity is 5.5 cups (1300ml), total weight 42.7 troy oz (1329g).
