A fine Early Victorian sterling silver snuff box by Nathaniel Mills, hallmarked Birmingham 1842. Rectangular with scroll borders and engine turned ground, concave sides and applied thumb-piece, with gilt interior. The central cartouche engraved with a script monogram "DLD". 2.4" (6cm) long, 1.5" (3.9cm) wide 1.7 troy oz (53g).
