Pair of American Silver Bon Bon Dishes

A fine pair of American sterling silver bon bon dishes by Whiting Manufacturing Co, New York, c. 1890 (designed in 1884, #1530). Circular form embossed with foliate decoration on matte ground and fluted decoration on the lower body, with two applied handles. Engraved with a script monogram "EES". 5.9" (15cm) across, total weight 6.7 troy oz (209g).
