Paul Storr Sterling Silver Meat Platter

A George III sterling silver meat platter by Paul Storr, hallmarked London 1793. Oval shape with applied gadroon and shell border, engraved with a coat of arms and motto "In Hoc Signo Vinces" (in this sign (the Cross) you will conquer). Scratch weight of 21 oz 10 dwt marked on the underside. 13 1⁄8" (33.2cm) wide, 20.4 troy oz (634g).
