A set of six Irish Victorian sterling silver-gilt teaspoons and matching sugar tongs by maker J.S (possibly John Smyth), hallmarked Dublin 1869. Chased with floral and scroll decoration, in a fitted leather case. Length of teaspoon 5.3" (13.5cm) long, total weight 4.3 troy oz (133g).
