Victorian Silver Tea Set

A Victorian sterling silver tea set by Richard Pearce & George Burrows, hallmarked London 1843 (sugar bowl) and 1846. Comprising a coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug. Baluster shaped bodies with scroll handle and spout, floral finial and anthemion feet. Engraved with floral, foliage and scroll decoration. The cream jug and sugar bowl with gilt interiors. Engraved with a family crest on the cartouche. Height of coffee pot 9.75" (24.8cm), capacity of teapot 4.5 cups (1125ml), total weight 68 troy oz (2116g).
