A Victorian sterling silver salver by Edward, Edward jr, John & William Barnard, hallmarked London 1841. Shaped circular form with applied scroll and acanthus border, the interior engraved with scrolls, flowers, and foliage, on three scroll and acanthus feet. Engraved in the centre with a coat of arms and motto "This I'll Defend". 10" (25.4cm) diameter, 18.1 troy oz (563g).
