A fine Victorian sterling silver vinaigrette by Edward Smith, hallmarked Birmingham 1840. Rectangular form with engine turned exterior, pierced and gilt grill engraved with scrolls and flowers, the central cartouche engraved with a script monogram. 1.6" (4cm) long, 0.8 troy oz (26g).
