Victorian Castle Top Silver Vinaigrette

A fine Victorian sterling silver vinaigrette by Edward Smith, hallmarked Birmingham 1846. Rectangular form with scroll edge, and concave sides, the lid engraved with a rare scene depicting Warwick Castle from upriver with the bridge in the foreground. The interior with pierced and gilt grill engraved with scrolls. 1.5" (3.8cm) long, 0.8 troy oz (24g).
