A fine quality sterling silver tea service in the George II style by Henry Birks & Sons, Montreal 1959-66, with matching tea tray on four bun feet, Montreal 1945. Baluster shaped with acanthus capped scroll handles and spouts, comprising a coffee pot, teapot, hot water pot, cream jug, lidded sugar bowl and tray. Height of coffee pot 11 1⁄8" (28.5cm), the tray is 27 1⁄8" (69cm) long, 18 1⁄8" (46cm) wide, total weight 200 troy oz (6221g).
