A handmade English sterling silver cup and cover by Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Co, hallmarked London 1927. Charles II style, with acanthus capped scroll handles, the lid and base embossed with acanthus leaves. The cup is large enough to accommodate two bottles of wine with room to spare for ice. 12.5" (31.8cm) across the handles, 10" (25.4cm) high, 66.1 troy oz (2056g).
