A German silver vegetable dish with cover, Berlin 1788-1802, marked with maker's mark  FW and IG over H?. Circular with embossed and chased fruit and foliage, with gilt interior and flat bottom. The cover embossed and chased with fruit and applied with a melon finial. Inscribed "5MJ 3/4 LY" on the underside 8.25” (21cm) diameter, 4.25" (10.8cm) high, 36.2 troy oz (1126g).
