An assembled Victorian sterling silver tea service comprising a teapot, coffee pot, sugar bowl and cream jug. The teapot, coffee pot and sugar bowl by Joseph & Albert Savory, hallmarked London 1844. The cream jug by Frederick Courthope, hallmarked London 1884. Melon shape with loop handle on lobed foot with hinged lid and applied melon finial, engraved with scroll and foliate motifs. The cream jug and sugar bowl with gilt interiors. 10" (26.2cm) from spout to handle with a 4 cup (1000ml) capacity, total weight 65.2 troy oz (2028g).
